What to wear?

At high altitudes the sun is very strong. It is
recommended that you wear long sleeves and pants, as well a a hat.

Light hiking boots will also come in handy on wet and slippery paths and stone steps.

The weather during this time of year is very nice; warm and dry. A light jacket should do the trick for mornings and evenings.

Shooting film?

If shooting film, bring your own supply. Not all brands and formats are readily available.

Money exchange?

You will find ATM machines throughout the countryside. It is best to use them, as you will get the correct exchange rate.

For the open markets you will need cash, but most other establishments also accept credit cards.

Coca tea?

Coca tea is a natural product. It preserves all of the physical-chemical properties of the coca leaf. Greenish yellow in color, it has a lightly bitter flavor, somewhat similar to green tea but with a slightly more natural sweet taste. It is widely believed to impart energy and alleviate the symptoms of altitude sickness.
